The Russian Long Sleeve MAROON Stripe Shirt - "Telnyashka" represents a unique piece of military clothing.
Maroon color is a special color of the elite Russian Special Forces.
Only the very best of the best Spetznaz units, such as Vityaz or Alpha are allowed to wear this color.
Both Maroon stripe shirts and Maroon Berets are not available for retail distribution in Russia without special permission.
The Stripe Shirt itself has a long history going back to early days of French Navy, Caribbean Pirates and Russian-Japanese battles of the late 19th - early 20th century.
The word "Telnyashka" comes from the Russian word "telo" - which means "body".
Indeed, the shirt leaves up to this name and is affectionately called "telnyashka" to symbolize its body-glove quality. |

Telnyashka (ru. Тельняшка)
Svetlo ali temno modro bela črtasta majica z rokavi ali brez,ki jo nosijo mornarji Ruske Mornarice,Ruski padalci(VDV) in Ruska mornariška pehota.
Majica je simbol velikega ponosa za nosilca te majice,ter je standardni kos opreme elitnih enot Ruske vojske.
Črtasta majica je lahko tudi druge barve kot svetlo ali temno modra,svetlo zelena, črna ter rdeča.Uporabljajo jo sledeče enote;
VDV Padalci,GRU Spetsnaz,FSB,protiteroristične enote OMON MVD..
